Donation Guidelines
The Staff and residents of Stepping Stones Shelter are
grateful for your support. Because of the overwhelming
generosity of our donor community and limited storage space
we ask that you read these guidelines before you make a
donation.

We are unable to pick up donations.

We can not take more than 3 large trash bags of clothes at any one time

Clothes: must be in season at the time of the donation,less than two years old, no visible tears, stains or wear.

Bedding: Must be clean, no stains, tears or wear.

Toys: Due to health reasons we can not take used toys,used books or stuffed animals

We can not take used mattresses, pillows, luggage, strollers, diaper bags or car seats.

We are unable to take art work, knick knacks, baskets, candles, seasonal decorations and decorative items

Please do not drop off furniture or appliances, please call first: All furniture must be in new condition. All drawers must slide in and out easily.All fabric must be intact and have no stains.

Televisions and microwaves should be relatively new and average sized. Residents’ new homes are usually on the smallside.

Computers must be less than 3 years old, in working condition and come with all the components – screen, keyboard, mouse, wires, etc. Theinstruction manual would be helpful too.
- Accepting Donations on front porch Mondays and Wednesdays.

Please sign the donation log when you arrive and let staff know that you are here to drop off donations.
