Stepping Stones Shelter staff is available to meet with any group or individual who is interested in having an event to Support Stepping Stones Shelter. Here are some examples of the types of events you can create to support the Shelter and its other programs.

• Walk or Run event
• Fannie Mae Help the Homeless- Mini Walk ( generally held at schools or religious institutions) or the National Walk on the Mall
• Car Wash
• Donation Drive- see our monthly wish/needs list
• Plays, musicals, or movies- donate a portion of the ticket sales
• Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and Confirmations -donate some of the financial gifts
• Graduations- donate a portion of your gifts
• Birthday Parties -donate a portion of the gifts
• School Sporting events-donate a portion of the ticket fee’s
• Flea Markets and Yard Sales- donate a portion of the sales
