Volunteer Your Time
Volunteers
are an integral part of operations at Stepping Stones Shelter.
The staff at Stepping Stones Shelter is both amazed and truly
thankful for the tremendous generosity of the local community.
With the help of volunteers and donations, we are able to
provide warm safe shelter, food, clothing, and all of the
other necessities.
Are
you interested in volunteering? We
offer a wide range of opportunities for volunteers, including
ongoing
help and special projects.
Stepping Stones
Shelter greatly appreciates individual volunteers and teams
of volunteers.
Requirements
to Volunteer
(A)
Commitment is appreciated
(B) Criminal background check may be required
(C) Mandatory attendance at a volunteer orientation session.
This will be offered once per month.
Volunteer
hours are Mon-Fri 10am-4pm. Sat, Sun 11am-4pm landscaping
work only.
The background check is not needed for families to conduct
landscaping projects. Orientation is mandatory for landscaping
projects. Large groups are welcome for landscaping projects.
Childcare Requirements
(A) Must be 16 years or older.
(B) Current TB test.
(C) Experience working with children.
(D) Background check
(E) Sun-Thurs 7pm-8:30pm.
